Davis Young Learners Programme
The Davis Reading Programme for Young Learners from age 5 - 8 years
Licensed Davis Dyslexia Correction® Facilitators are authorized to
provide a new one-to-one Davis programme.
The Davis Reading Programme® for Young Learners is a one-to-one facilitated learning enhancement programme for children aged 5 - 8, based around the content
of the Davis Young Learner® Kit and Manual.
Its aims are:
- to provide lifelong learning skills to younger children through a
partnership between Facilitator, child and parent(s) - to give one or both of the child's parents, or a support person,
sufficient confidence and skill to continue working with the Kit after the programme. - provide children with the conceptual skills needed to develop reading
- fluency and comprehension.
The Davis Reading Programme® for Young Learners is a learning enhancement
programme, not a dyslexia correction programme.
Fees: Available on application. The Programme fee includes the complete Davis Young Learners Kit. An hourly rate will apply for all subsequent follow up sessions.
The programme takes from five to ten days in 2-3 hour sessions.
